"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Directions:
Take bread dough and pour olive oil over it and mix in crushed red peppers and basil. Keep mixing until it mixed in the dough well. Shape into a ring by twisting it; then let rise to double its size. Pour more olive oil over the dough and bake at 375º for about 20-25 minutes or until done. While baking brush oil over it. Remove from oven and pour more oil over the bread.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe belonged to Phylis and was passed down to her grandson Gene's first wife Barbara Coan. Barbara's husband Larry loves this bread the more oil the better. It can be adjusted for more or less red pepper depending upon your taste. It is a delicious bread just to eat alone.
