1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup melted shortening
1/2 cup milk (sweet or sour)
1 1/2 cups flour
1 egg
1 cup chopped nuts
2 squares melted chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together except nuts and chocolate squares;drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Melt chocolate squares with nuts. Bake cookies at 350º F for 10-12 minutes; Spread the chocolate with nuts on top while still warm.
