2 cans French cut green beans
1 8-oz. can water chestnuts
1/2 c. butter
4 green onions or 1 medium onion, chopped
2 4-oz. cans mushrooms
1/2 c. flour
2 c. milk
3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 t. soy sauce
1/2 t. Tabasco sauce
3/4 c. slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Drain water chestnuts, chop and add to beans. Saute onion and mushrooms in butter. Stir in flour, milk and cheese. Cook until thickened. Stir in soy sauce, Tabasco sauce. Pour over beans and mix. Turn into 2 qt. buttered casseroles. Sprinkle almonds over top. Bake for 20 minutes in a 375º
