10-12 oz round steak 1/2" to 3/4" thick tenderized and trimmed to serving size pieces.
1/4 tsp black pepper.
2 T whole wheat flour.
Small onion sliced very thin
Medium shallot sliced very thin
1/2 tsp garlic juice or minced garlic
1/2 tsp salt
8 oz of low sodium petite diced tomatoes.

Preheat oven to 350
Coat a 9" casserole dish with nonstick spray and mix flour & pepper onto a plate or wax paper.
Dredge steak pieces thru flour fully coating both sides and place in dish. Do not overlap.
Scrape all leftover flour into gravy shaker, add enough water to liquefy flour into a thin paste to be spread around steaks.
Layer steaks with onions and shallots.
Spread tomatoes over steaks, cover dish and bake for 1 hour or until steak is tender.
Serve with pasta, rice or mashed potatoes.
