1 cup brown sugar
1 can Eagle Brand
1 small can evaporated milk
5 eggs
2-3 tbsp vanilla

Directions:
Melt the brown sugar in the bottom of a casserole dish - be sure it covers the complete bottom of the dish. Blend together the Eagle Brand, evaporated milk, and eggs. Add the vanilla. Pour the egg mixture over the brown sugar glaze. Place casserole dish in water-filled pan or dish, and bake (like egg custard) at 350º for 50-60 minutes. Turn out onto buttered plate while still warm.

Note: This recipe is from Margarita Ortiz, from Campeche, Yucatan. It is super-delicious and super-rich, so serve in small slices.
