1 lb. ground beef
1 T. salad oil or bacon drippings
1 clove garlic, minced, or 1/4 tsp. garlic puree or garlic salt
1 tsp. salt
1 large onion, chopped
1 green pepper, seeded and chopped (or can stewed tomatoes with green peppers - Rotel©)
1 tsp. chili powder
1 medium sized can tomatoes, about 2 1/2 cups
1 can kidney beans
3/4 c. uncooked rice
1/4 c. chopped ripe olives
3/4 c. grated cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the ground meat in oil until crumbly. Add garlic salt, salt, onion, green pepper, and chili powder and saute 5 minutes, or until vegetables are limp. Mix in tomatoes, kidney beans, and rice, and cook until the rice is done.
