1 pkg. of cooked chocolate pudding
3 egg yolks
3 egg whites
milk
1 small can of evaporated milk
1 tsp. to 1 TBS of sugar to sweeten pudding
deep dish pie shell

Directions:
Cook pudding following directions on back. Instead of using all milk use the small can of evaporated milk first, then the rest regular milk.
As the pudding begins to get hot take a large spoon of it and mix with the egg yolks. . Then put back in the pot and continue to stir and cook adding sugar if it needs it. Follow directions on the pie shell. Take prepared pie shell and pour all the pudding into the shell. Let cool. Make meringue by taking the whites and mix with handmixer until it begins to change texture and color. Add 1-tsp. of cream of tarter, 1/4 tsp. of vanilla, and 1/4 tsp. of sugar. When it is stiff and white put on top of pudding and place in over at 375º until the meringue had a light brown.
