Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 package vanilla wafers
blue jello for the "water"
striped gum for "beach towels"
peanuts in the shell for "sunbathers"
white Lifesaver-type candies for "life preservers"

Directions:
Directions:
Gather anything else you can think of to create a beach scene, such as little plastic palm trees, ships (found in the aquarium supply department of pet shops) and the little paper cocktail umbrellas. Little gummi fish look neat in the jello "water".

Mom, crush the vanilla wafers in your food processor or blender until they are very fine and look like sand. Give each kid a paper plate or disposable aluminum pie tin to build their own beach scene on. Then, give them the "sand" you made and the other supplies and stand back and watch what they do to create their beach!
