2 large avocado, peeled, seeded and mashed 1 medium tomato, seeded and diced 1/4 c. onion, finely minced 1 T. garlic, crushed 2 T. lemon juice 1 T. chili powder 1 t. ground cumin 1 t. salt 1/2 t. sugar 1 to 2 T. chopped parsley or cilantro, to taste
Mix all ingredients together. Cover the guacamole tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate until flavors blend - at least 30 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips.
This recipe can be increased easily. Allow 1 avocado per person if this is the only (or main) appetizer.
