"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
My brother-in-law, Joe Distefano, makes this dish for us from his Grandma's recipe. I make it from the recipe he wrote down, but it's never quite as good. Either he keeps part of it secret, or I don't have the same proportions, or it's that food that others cook for you is just more delicious. Despite that, we eat spaghetti and meatballs at least once a month, and I like my own pretty well!
