4 1/2 cups cake flour
1 tsp baking powder
4 eggs
3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
4 tsp. grated lemon peel
Anise seeds (sprinkle on cookie sheets)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat ingredients together. Chill for 1 hour. Sprinkle anise seeds on lightly-greased cookie sheet. Roll out dough to 1/2 inch thickness. Press with lightly floured Springerle rolling pin or use mold and press. Cut cookies apart. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes or until brown.
