24 fresh shucked oysters, on the half shell
1 Lb unsalted butter
2 T fresh lemon juice
1 T Worcestershire sauce
2 bunches green onions, finely chopped
20 garlic cloves, pureed
1 tsp red pepper flakes
3 T thyme
3 T oregano
2 T Creole seasoning
2 ounces dry white wine
1 c grated Romano cheese
1 loaf French bread

Directions:
Directions:
Melt half the butter in a medium sauce pan over medium heat. Add lemon juice, Worcestershire, green onions and all herbs and seasonings. Cook for 2-3 minutes then stir in wine.

Keep stirring and remove from heat as soon as the onions wilt. Let cool for 4 minutes. Add rest of butter and stir until completely incorporated.

Heat grill to 350º. Place oysters on the frill. When the oyster liquor starts to bubble, add 1 T of sauce on top of each oyster then top with 1 T of Romano cheese. Let the cheese melt. When oyster begin to brown slightly, remove from grill and place on a heat proof tray. Top each oyster with an additional T of sauce and enjoy immediately with the bread to soak of the liquid.
