3 sticks butter
2 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
9 to 10 eggs

Grease and flour a tube pan. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beating well after each. Add flour a little at a time. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan and bake at 325º for 2 hours or until done.
