1 c. dry or fresh sweet basil.
1/2 c. dry parsley
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
2 T. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup of olive oil
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients until forming a smooth paste. You can add more basil, walnuts, or parsley to make it thicker or more olive oil to make it smoother. Salt to taste. Serve with pasta.

Instead of adding pesto to each individual serving, it is actually best to first mix pesto with all the cooked pasta in a bowl, and mix it well. Then serve.
