8 C sliced cucumbers
2 T salt
1 1/2 C sugar
1 C white vinegar
1 onion, sliced (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cucumbers and salt; set aside. After 2 hours, drain well. In saucepan, combine sugar and vinegar. Heat until sugar dissolves; add onion; cool.When vinegar mix is cooled, stir in cucumbers, coating thoroughly. Put in freezer containers. Freeze at least 2 weeks before enjoying!
