1 quart of oysters drained of liquid (save this) – be sure there are no shells or sand.
2 cups crushed cracker crumbs
1 tsp. salt
4 tbls. butter
1 cup half and half
A couple of dashes of Worcestershire Sauce [to taste]
A bit of paprika on top may make the dish look better.

Directions:
Directions:
Alternate layers of oysters and crackers in baking dish.
Sprinkle salt and daubs of butter on each layer.
Pour reserved oyster liquid over entire dish, and then pour over the half and half.
Note: Add the Worcestershire to the half and half and mix before adding it to dish.
Back at 350 degrees until the edges of the oysters curl and the top browns.
Serve hot.
