Blackberry Cobbler Recipe

2 c. flour
1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1/2 c ice water
6 c. fresh blackberries
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. Grand Marnier
2 T. flour
1 stick butter cut into 1 in. cubes
2 scoops vanilla bean ice cream
Fresh mint sprigs

Preheat oven to 350º
Blend flour, salt, sugar. Cut in shortening until resembles coarse crumbs. Add water, 1 T. at a time until comes together and smooth ball. Wrap dough tightly and refrig 30 min. Remove from refrig and place on lightly floured surface. Roll to 1/8 inch.
Divide in half. Place half dough in 9 X 9 X 2 in. square baking pan. Reserve other half to top.

Combine blackberries with sugar, Grand Marnier, and flour. Pour into pan. Top with cubed butter. Lay reserved crust over blackberries, tuck edges down into pan.
Bake 30-35 min. until crust is golden brown. Remove and allow to cool. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
