Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 oz of premium baking chocolate
(I use half bittersweet and half semi-sweet)

Directions:
Directions:
Break chocolate into pieces. Place in a microwave proof bowl and microwave on high for 20 seconds. Stir and microwave again for 20 seconds. Repeat until all chocolate is melted. (You can have some "chunks" remaining that will melt when the chocolate is stirred.) Make sure no moisture comes into contact with this mixture.

On a silicone mat or parchment paper, place a small amount of the melted chocolate on a fork. Using the tines of the fork, swirl the chocolate from the center out, creating spikes like maple leaves. Place in the refrigerator until completely cooled. Carefully remove from the mat and freeze or keep refrigerated until use.

To use, place a "leaf" on a wedge of pumpkin cheesecake, in my instance, or to garnish any dessert.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Served as a garnish with pumpkin cheesecake for Thanksgiving 2011.
