BOTTOM LAYER:
1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix (not butter)
1 stick butter, melted
1 egg
1 c. pecans, finely chopped

TOP LAYER:
16 oz. box powdered sugar
2 eggs
8oz. cream cheese softened
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease a 9 x 13 baking pan.

Mix together ingredients for the bottom layer and press into greased pan. With a mixer, beat together ingredients for the top layer and pour over uncooked bottom layer. Bake 30 - 40 minutes until edges begin to brown. Cut into small 1 inch squares, as in shortbread.
