2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
5 egg yolks (beaten)
1 c. grated cooked potatoes
1/2 c. grated chocolate ( bakers semi sweet )
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 c. chopped nuts
stiffly beaten egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter, add egg yolks, potatoes and grated chocolate. Sift together dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients, alternating with milk. Fold in chopped nuts and beaten egg whites. Bake in 2 loaf pans. 325º oven. 45 mins. or till done.
Frosting
1 c. sugar, 1 egg yolk, 1 sq. unsweetened choc.
pinch of salt, 1/2 c. milk
Cook to soft ball stage. Add 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat until easy to spread. Frost
