3 cups flour
1/4 cup plus 2 T. sugar
3/4 cup soft oleo
3/4 tsp. salt

Filling:
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups light or dark Karo syrup
3T. melted oleo
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups (or less) chopped pecans

Directions:
Beat flour, sugar, oleo, and salt on med. speed until crumbly, press in pan. bake til light brown (20 min) Mix filling, adding the pecans last. Pour over crust. Bake til filling is set (25 min). Cool. Cut in bars. 350º oven, 15 1/2x 10 1/2 pan. For thicker bars use smaller pan 9x13
