1/2 c. Butter or margarine
1/4 c. Sugar
1 egg yolk
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. Flour
1 egg white
1 c. Finely chopped nuts
Jam or jelly

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add one well beaten egg yolk and lemon juice, beat well. Add flour. Combine until well blended. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Dip balls in slightly beaten egg white. Then roll in chopped nuts. Place on greased cookie sheet and make a a fairly deep indentation in the centre of each cookie. Bake at 350º for 5 minutes. Quickly indent the centers again. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Fill hot cookies with jam or jelly.

I seem to remember these were rolled in coconut, though Nan says chopped nuts. You go with what you remember!
