2 lb chuck roast, cut into 3 inch cubes, or stew meat
1 cup carrots
1 cup celery
1 cup onions
3 tbsp quick cooking tapioca
1 tbsp sugar
1 12 0z can V-8

Directions:
Directions:
Salt and pepper the meat, brown in batches in a Dutch oven, remove to plate.

Saute the carrots, onions and celery, add the remaining ingredients and stir. Place the meat back in the pot, mushing it into the stuff so its covered.

Bake at 300 for 3-4 hours. Put aluminum foil under the lid so it is sealed well. Stir a couple of times.
