2 cups flour, 2 eggs, 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cups chopped nuts (any kind, optional), 16 ounce can crushed pineapple, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 tsp baking soda.

Frosting: 8 ounce cream cheese, 1 cup icing sugar, 1/2 cup butter.

As the recipe suggests, dump all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Pour into a 9 X 13 ungreased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. remove from oven and prick in several places. Spread icing right out of the oven.

Frosting....Mix cream cheese and butter until creamy. Gradually add icing sugar and beat until creamy. Spread on cake and serve.

I called Glenna to get this recipe but unfortunately she had it left around the bay. She told me the ingredients as best she could recall and I researched on the internet and came up with this recipe which I think is the same. Helen praised this cake after having it at Glenna's for dessert. Quite easy to make and fast....not to mention delicious.
