3 lbs. small red potatoes
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 onion, diced
2 tablespoons olive oil
⅔ cup water
1 cup cream cheese with onions and chives (8oz container) I used light.
2 tablespoons butter
½ cup milk or heavy whipping cream (I used skim milk)
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Dice potatoes.
Place potatoes in the slow cooker.
Add garlic, onion, salt and pepper to taste, and water.
Mix to coat.
Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours, or until potatoes are tender.
Remove lid and mash potatoes to desired consistency.
Stir in cream cheese, butter, and add the milk or cream to your liking.
Serve right away, or switch your slow cooker to warm.
