! whole chicken (turkey from Christmas or Thanksgiving is great, too!)
1 C. celery, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. butter
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 16 oz. jar of Cheez Whiz
1 8 oz. box of spaghetti
1/2 C. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 small jar of pimentos, optional

In a large pot, boil the chicken until it is done. Keep the water in the pot to use to cook the spaghetti. Cut the chicken up into bite-sized pieces. Cook the spaghetti, according to the directions on the box.

While the spaghetti is cooking, saute the celery and onions in the butter. Grease a 13 X 9 pan, In a large bowl, combine the onions, celery, Cheez Whiz, and soups. Add the spaghetti and chicken when finished and mix together well. Add the pimentos if you desire. Put mixture in the 13 X 9 and top with the Cheddar cheese. Cook for 30 minutes at 350º.

**Time-saving idea: Quite often I will use a roasted chicken I bought from the store.

I got this recipe when we lived in Levelland and Amber was in pre-school at First Methodist. This was from a recipe in her pre-school cookbook from Linda Tucker.
