1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup Creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup light Karo
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbslp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, shortening, peanut butter and syrup. Add milk and remaining ingredients. Mix well. Roll in wax paper and chill. Slice and place on cookie sheet. Put a tsp. of peanut butter in the middle of the cookie and top with another slice of the cookie dough. Press edges together with a fork. Bake for 12 minutes at 350º
