4 buttons of Garlic mince or chopped
12 Pepper corns, whole, ground, or mashed
1/2 tsp. Cumin seed, ground or crushed
1 Onion, chopped
2 Tomatoes, peeled and chopped - or -
1 can of chopped tomatoes
1.2 Bell Pepper, chopped
1 c. Rice

In iron skillet, add 1/2 c. cooking oil, Add rice after oil is hot and brown the rice. Remove from heat and drain. Add spices and stir for a minute. Add onion, tomatoes and bell pepper, with 2 cups of water. Mix very well and bring to boil. Cover and simmer. Do not stir while simmering. Let it cook until it is rather dry without burning
