2 c all purpose flour
1 c pecans
1/8 tsp salt
1 c butter, softened
1/2 c firmly packed brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Place flour, pecans and salt in a blender or food processor fitted with a steel blade. Process until mixture is a fine powder. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix dry ingredients into creamed mixture, knead until a soft dough forms. Cover and chill 8 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 300º On a lightly floured surface use a floured rolling pin to roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutter. Transfer cookies to a greased baking sheet. Bake 20-25 minutes or until light brown. Cool completely on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container.
