2 cups pecans, chopped
3/4 c bourbon
1/2 c butter or margarine, softened
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 to 3 pounds confectioners' sugar
4 (1 oz) squares unsweetened chocolate
1/4 bar paraffin

Directions:
Directions:
Place nuts in a jar and add bourbon. Place lid on jar and soak nuts for two days; stir occasionally.
In a large mixing bowl, blend butter and vanilla; add nuts. Gradually add sugar until mixture is stiff. Cover mixture and chill overnight.
Shape mixture into 3/4 inch balls. Place balls on baking sheets and cover tightly.
(Note: balls should be chilled or frozen to be firm enough to hold a shape when dipped into chocolate)
In a small double boiler, melt chocolate and paraffin. Stir until smooth. Use a wooden pick to dip balls in chocolate. Lay balls on waxed paper to harden. Store in refrigerator or freeze.
