1 C soft butter;
1-1/4 C sugar;
2 eggs;
1-1/2 C pumpkin puree;
1/2 C raisins;
1/2 C chopped nuts;
2 C flour;
1/2 C wheat germ;
2 tsp baking powder;
1 tsp baking soda;
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and sugar; add eggs and pumpkin. In a separate bowl mix flour, wheat germ, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon. Slowly add dry ingredients to bowl of butter/sugar mixture. Add raisins and nuts, stir well.

Drop by tsp. full on well greased cookie sheets. Bake at 400º for 12-15 min.

To make fresh pumpkin puree instead of canned:
bake scooped out pumpkin halves at 325º for 1 hour or until soft. Then scoop out and mash.
