3 c. milk (half regular milk & half canned milk)
3 eggs, separated
pinch of salt
6 tbsp. corn starch
2/3 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 stick of butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk in a pot on the stove. In a bowl, beat egg yolks. Add salt, brown sugar and corn starch to the egg yolks. Take 1/2 cup of the warm milk and add it to this mixture to temper it. Add remainder of the egg mixture to the milk still in the pot, stirring with a wisk until it come to a boil. Add butter and vanilla after removing from heat.

Use egg whites for meringue.
