Directions:
Line cookie sheet with waxed paper.

In medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar with marshmallow creme and blend thoroughly. Knead in remaining powdered sugar. Divide mixture into 4 parts. Form each part into rope 1/2 inch in diameter. Cut into pieces 1 1/2 inches long. Place on waxed paper-lined cookie sheet. Freeze about 20 minutes or until firm.

In a 4-cup microwavable safe measuring cup or bowl, place 1 package of caramels and 2 Tablespoons of water. Microwave on High 3 to 4 minutes, stirring after each minute until the sauce is smooth. Dip frozen marshmallow pieces into caramel mixture. Roll in peanuts. Place on waxed paper-lined cookie sheet. Freeze until set.

Remove and wrap in plastic wrap and tie with ends with ribbon or twist to hold in place. Store in covered container in refrigerator.

Note: Repeat with remaining package of caramels and 2 Tablespoons of water. Continue as directed above until all candies have been made.

If caramel becomes too stiff, reheat in the microwave.
