4 quarts sliced cucumbers
4 large onions, sliced
3 quarts water
1 cup pickling salt
3 cups cider vinegar
3 cups brown sugar
1 tbsp. mustard seed
1 tbsp. tumeric

Directions:
Directions:
Wash cucumbers (do not peel) and slice 1/2" thick. Soak overnight in water & pickling salt. Drain next morning and add onions. Bring next 4 ingredients to a boil in a large pot. Add cucumbers and onions. Boil gently for 15 minutes, stirring frequently. When cooked, put in sterilized jars and seal.
