1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening
½ tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
¾ tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1-1/2 c. flour
3 c. oatmeal
Nut meats, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, shortening, and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each.
Sift salt, soda, and flour. Add oatmeal and nuts.
Form rolls. Slice and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10 to 12 min.
