12 marshmallows
1/4 cup butter
2 and 1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup Carnation evaporated milk
1 and 1/2 packages of chocolate chips
1/2 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine marshmallows, butter, sugar and evaporated milk and boil 4 minutes stirring continually. Remove from the stove, add the chocolate chips and nuts and stir until the chocolate melts. Pour into a buttered pan.

This comes from a recipe card in Grandmother's handwriting and on the top it says "Gertie" so we can assume this is a recipe that Grandmother's sister gave to her. By nuts she means walnuts. I prefer it without nuts.
