When I was in grade school, I had terrible asthma in the Spring, so I often stayed in San Francisco with Grampa Steve's parents for a couple of weeks during the peak pollen time. I remember helping Granny make this, then we would cut an avocado in half, pour the dressing into the center of each, and have a delicious snack.
