1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. creamy peanut butter
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 T. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 1/4c. flour
3/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º combine shortening, peanut butter, sugars, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until blended. Beat in egg, combine flour, soda, baking powder and salt in small bowl. Mix into creamed mixture till blended well. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough 2" apart onto un greased cookie sheets. Make crisscross pattern on dough with floured fork. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes and cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet. Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
