1 cup sugar
3/4 c white Karo syrup
1 c cream
1/2 c butter or margarine
2 squares of German Sweet chocolate and 1 T cocoa
1 c parched peanuts
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, syrup, butter, and 1/2 the cream until it boils vigorously. Then add the other 1/2 cup of cream a little bit at a time, don't let the mixture stop boiling when the additional cream is added. Stir and boil until a small amount forms a hard ball when dropped in a cup of cold water, remove from heat and add parched peanuts, chocolate and vanilla. Stir until chocolate is melted. Pour in a greased platter or biscuit pan. Cut in squares when partly cooled.
