Filling:
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
Batter:
1 3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. canned pumpkin
1/4 c. oleo, melted
1 egg
1/3 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix filling ingredients well and set aside.
Batter: Sift dry ingredients. Mix pumpkin, margarine, egg and water. Add sifted dry ingredients. Reserve 2 cups of pumpkin batter. Pour remaining batter into a greased 5x9 inch loaf pan. Pour cream cheese over top, then the rest of batter. Cut through batter with a knife several times to swirl. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350º. Smaller pan will overflow. Freezes well.
