Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 medium cabbage, shredded
salt and pepper to taste
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed tomato soup

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325.

In skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Arrange cabbage in 13x9-inch baking dish (about 3/4 full); salt and pepper to taste. Top with hamburger; spread tomato soup over top of hotdish. Bake about 1 hour.

Personal Notes:
Cedric Adams was from my mom's hometown of Magnolia, Minnesota. She and my dad loved reading Mr. Adams' column in the paper and hearing his commentaries on the radio. This was one of my dad's very favorite recipes. It was popularized when times were tough, so it is an economical dinner for a family.
