2/3 c shortening
1 egg
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c molasses
1/2 sour or buttermilk
1 c raisins
2 1/2 c flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 tsp ginger
Directions:
Directions:
Beat shortening, egg, sugar and molasses about 2 minutes. Add milk and raisins. Sift together flour, cinnamon, salt, soda and ginger. Add to first mixture. Blend then drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake approximately 12 min at 350º.
