2 cup sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
2 cup applesauce
2 tsp baking soda
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp salt
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups raisins or chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Beat in eggs. Add soda to applesauce and stir into creamed mixture. Sift together dry ingredients and add to other ingredients. Drop onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 10 minutes.
