1 (1 pound) box uncooked shell or elbow macaroni
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
3 ribs celery, chopped
1/2 medium green pepper, chopped (optional)
1 (15 1/4 ounce) can corn
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (2 ounce) jar sliced pimento
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Butter a 3-quart casserole dish. Prepare macaroni according to package directions to al dente; drain.

In skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Add celery and green pepper, if desired. When celery and green pepper are soft, add remaining ingredients and mix well.

Spoon beef mixture into casserole with cooked macaroni; mix well. Bake, covered, for 1 hour.
