1 can black beans, rinsed & drained
¼ block extra firm tofu, chopped and crumbled
1/3 cup chopped red onion
½ cup dry breadcrumbs
2 heaping tbsp. med-hot chunky salsa
1 tsp. ground cumin
½ tsp. hot sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Drain and rinse beans, using a potato masher mash the beans in a medium bowl, then add the tofu and mash that in as well.
Mix in the onion, breadcrumbs, salsa, cumin and hot sauce.
Shape bean mixture into patties
Brush grill rack with vegetable oil, or place foil over grill rack and spray on cooking spray. Grill burgers until heated through, 3-6 minutes per side depending on heat of grill.

Chipolte Ketchup (to go with black bean burger)
1/3 cup ketchup
1 tsp. honey
1 tsp. lime juice
½ tsp. chipolte chile powder
½ tsp ground cumin
Combine all ingredients and whisk together.
