1 14oz bag caramels
1 5 oz can evaporated milk
1 stick of butter, melted
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 cup finely chopped nuts
1 12oz pkg semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Pre heat oven to 325.
Melt caramels and 1\4 cup milk in heavy pan over low heat, stirring constantly. Set aside.
Combine melted butter, dry cake mix, nuts and remaining milk in large bowl. Press half of this mixture into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 325 for 6 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Spread caramel mixture over chocolate chips. Press remaining cake mixture over caramel. Bake 15 to 18 more minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
