½ pound Salt pork
3 pounds onions
3 large cans tomatoes
1 bunch celery
3 bell peppers

Directions:
Directions:
Fry salt pork and add 1 onion. Cook until tender, but not brown. Add in tomatoes which have been chopped(food processor). Cook 20 minutes.

Add diced celery and bell pepper and cook until tender, about an hour. In another pot put 3-5 lbs. Potatoes, diced; and cook until almost tender. Drain. Take salt pork mixture and add to potatoes. Then about 6-8 cans of chopped clams, and add a heaping teaspoon of thyme, marjoram and 2 diced datil peppers. Add salt and pepper only after tasting. Do not boil after adding clams.
