3 egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cream of tarter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 chopped pecans

1 4oz pkgs. German sweet chocolate
3 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. brandy
1 cup whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º. Spray 8 inch (small) pie pan with vegetable spray lightly. Beat egg whites until foamy, add salt and cream of tarter. Beat until stiff. Gradually add sugar beating until stiff and gently add nuts. Spread in pie pan shaping to outline of pan, but do not extend beyond rim. Bake for 50 minutes until golden brown. Cool. Chop chocolate and melt in microwave using low temperature (it does not take long). Whip cream until it holds a peak and fold in melted chocolate. Garnish with whipped cream if desired, but not really necessary. Serves 6 people.
