2 tbsp. margarine
3 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
2 c. American Cheese (shredded)

Directions:
Melt butter in pot on stove. Add flour slowly to make a paste consistency, then whisk while slowly adding milk. Slowly add cheese and allow to melt. Continue whisking until completely melted. Let sit about 5 minutes to thicken up. Use as a dip with your favorite appetizer: fried mushrooms, gizzards, fried cauliflower, etc.
