1/2# sweet butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup finely ground walnuts
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar in a bowl. Stir in nuts and vanilla.
Add flour. Blend well to mix thoroughly.
Form mixture into 3/4 in. ball. Place on greased cookie sheet and flatten, using the bottom of a glass tumbler covered with a damp cloth to prevent dough from sticking, to form a cookie about 1 1/2 in.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350º for 15-20 min.until cookies are lightly brown around the edges.
